J. Kent Staffing’s client, a large regional carpet and flooring company, needed help finding an entry level Administrative Assistant with great customer service skills to support the sales team, process and track orders, and coordinate inventory transfers. Job requirements included a high school diploma, intermediate computer and data entry skills, 1 year of work experience and, most importantly, a strong work ethic and desire to learn and grow within a company.
What a great opportunity for Natasha, who left college before getting her degree to start a family. After relocating from Nashville to Denver in 2016 due to her husband’s job, Natasha worked part-time in restaurants and did some temporary work to help out with the family finances. Tired of working nights, weekends, and an inconsistent schedule, she came to J. Kent Staffing in hopes of finding a full-time, Monday-Friday, 8-5, office position.
Natasha’s positive, friendly disposition and great communication skills instantly won over J. Kent’s client and she immediately started her temp-to-hire assignment. Three months later… Natasha has clearly demonstrated her strong work ethic, customer service, and sales support and administration skills and is on track for getting hired by J. Kent’s client by the end of 2018.
