Kyla contacted J. Kent Staffing when her job as Front Desk Associate at a hotel had been cut due to COVID-19. A Colorado native with a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Colorado Christian University, Kyla was eager to find work again. She was seeking a long-term position where she could continue to utilize her exceptional customer service skills, but also grow and develop her administrative skills.
A J. Kent Recruiter connected Kyla with one of our nonprofit clients that provides services to Colorado citizens with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Shortly before their offices moved to remote working due to COVID-19, their Receptionist relocated and had to resign. Because work had gone remote, our client held off on re-filling the position right away.
When they returned to the office at the beginning of June it was time, once again, to hire a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant. Kyla’s hospitality background and excellent customer service skills made her a standout candidate. She was offered the temp-to-hire position and recently began her training.
