After graduating high school in Savannah, Georgia, Rebecca worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for the next 7 years as an Office Automation Clerk before moving into the private sector as an Executive Assistant for a large construction group. Her desire to travel and see other parts of the U.S. took her to San Diego and then to Miami, where she worked in a high end restaurant and butcher shop.
Little did she know that her experience in the meat industry would follow her to Denver! Rebecca recently moved here due to her fiance’s job transfer and responded to J. Kent Staffing’s search for an Executive Assistant to the CEO of an international trade association for the U.S. meat industry. A non-traditional college student, Rebecca recently attained her bachelor’s degree online from Arizona State University. Her recent degree, excellent computer skills, and 10 years of progressive administrative experience were key factors in securing an interview.
Well aware of Denver’s low unemployment and tight candidate market, our client did not want to lose Rebecca to other job offers. They moved quickly and extended an offer after only meeting with one candidate – Rebecca – who was thrilled to accept their offer.
