Event Staffing is back! After a one-year hiatus due to COVID-19, Denver’s active event calendar is back in full swing. In July, we welcomed Major League Baseball’s 2021 All-Star Game to Coors Field and Denver, Colorado with a plethora of events and activities.
J. Kent Staffing was excited with the opportunity to provide event staff from July 3rd through July 16th to help with the “Play Ball Park” festival at the Colorado Convention Center. This free event for fans blended baseball, softball, music, food, technology, shopping, fashion, exhibits, mascots, legends of the game, former Olympians, and many fun activities for families and fans of all ages.
Shirley is retired but loves to meet new people and be active in her downtown Denver community. She works part-time for a neighborhood organization and enjoys supplementing that with other part-time event and office work. Her high energy and fun personality were terrific assets for interacting with event-goers during MLB All-Star Week.
Hasheem lives in California but was visiting and staying with a friend in Denver for one month. While here, he was looking to pick up some temporary work and embraced the opportunity to help out during the course of this 10-day project, including pre-event set-up and post-event take-down. Our client gave high accolades to Hasheem and what a great asset he was for them during this 2-week project.
