New Colorado Resident Hired for Program Assistant Role with State of Colorado

Marion

Program Assistant

Timing was just right for Marion!

She had recently moved to Denver from Washington, DC due to her partner’s career relocation. In her last position in Arlington, VA, she was a Program Coordinator for an organization supporting two programs of the U.S. Department of State.

Marion also brings impressive education credentials including a Bachelor of Arts in Peace & Conflict Studies from University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Arts in International Law & Human Rights from a university in Costa Rica.

She was ideally hoping to continue her career in Colorado in the government or nonprofit sectors and was open to considering temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct-hire positions.

Marion connected with J. Kent Staffing through a google search and her J. Kent Recruiter immediately identified her as a top candidate for our long-term temporary Program Assistant role with the State of Colorado. After a successful interview with our client, Marion started her new position in February 2023.

Since moving here, Marion has been enjoying exploring beautiful Colorado! Loving everything to do with water, she is looking forward to summer activities such as kayaking, paddle boarding, and tubing.

Welcome to Colorado, Marion!
