Office Administrator Starts New Job at High-End Denver Furniture & Design Store

Cyndi

Office Administrator

For the past decade, J. Kent Staffing has provided temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct-hire staffing solutions to one of the oldest and most prestigious furniture and design retailers in Denver.

Every retail operation needs office staff – from administrative to customer service to accounting. For the past 1.5 years, we have had a long-term temporary associate assisting their Office Manager part-time with various administrative tasks. This individual had to part ways due to other commitments, and our client enlisted our help to replace her with a full-time Office Administrator on a temp-to-hire basis.

After working for so long with a client and getting to know what works and doesn’t work in their given environment, our J. Kent Recruiter was able to make a successful hire in just one shot! This is not “luck” – it takes many years to refine one’s skill of carefully matching our vetted talent to each of our unique clients.

Meet Cyndi – Temp-to-Hire Office Administrator

Cyndi has had an interesting and varied career path in Colorado!

On the more traditional side of things, she has worked as an office manager/executive assistant in commercial property management, has managed the branch office of a national janitorial company, and most recently has worked in retail jewelry sales. Earlier in her career, she was the Building Manager for the Ralph Carr Colorado Judicial Center, which housed the Colorado Supreme Court, the Colorado Court of Appeals, and the Colorado Attorney General’s office at the time.

Every career needs a little spice though! Cyndi’s “spice” over the years has included:

On the personal side, Cyndi is all about family!

She loves spending time with her daughter and three grandchildren. For her birthday this year, they purchased a sloth encounter for Cyndi at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo because she is a collector of sloth figurines. At the zoo, they hand-fed the giraffes and the elephants and spent time with Bean, one of the zoo sloths (see photo insert). They were educated all about sloths during their visit and left with a piece of art that “Bean The Sloth” had painted that now hangs on a wall in Cyndi’s home.

Cyndi also cherishes her other fur babies – her Chihuahua (Little Bit) and Blue Point Siamese cat (Misty) and loves to read fiction novels.

We love our fun, interesting, and passionate J. Kent Employees! Thanks for being a part of our J. Kent Team, Cyndi, and we look forward to hearing all about your journey in your new role as Office Administrator!
