When looking for a Denver job, it’s important to utilize many different resources, including working with staffing agency recruiters. This was Bailey’s initial perspective. After graduating with her BA in Psychology from Metropolitan State University, Bailey moved to Texas to spend a year with her grandmother. She returned to her hometown of Denver in early 2021 and immediately began her job search. She started by only applying to positions that were listed directly by the hiring company. However, after a while, Bailey wisely decided to expand her search to opportunities listed through staffing agencies.
J. Kent’s job posting for an Office Assistant caught Bailey’s eye because it also provided clerical support to the accounting department of our specialty construction client. While in Texas, Bailey worked for a car dealership as a Receptionist/Cashier. In this role, she was exposed to accounts payable and found she really enjoyed and excelled in that area.
The J. Kent Recruiter whom Bailey interviewed with immediately saw the potential match and Bailey was an instant hit with our client! After just one interview, she was offered a direct-hire position and she started work the following week.
Our client was looking for someone to answer phones and provide great customer service to their commercial clients. In addition, they also wanted someone who had a knack for numbers, strong attention to detail, and would have the interest and potential to take on more accounting support responsibilities over time. This happened to be exactly what Bailey was looking for.
