Heidi thrives most working in small offices where she has varied job duties including HR, accounting, customer service, and admin/office management. Prior to moving to Colorado at the end of 2019, she was the General Manager of a funeral home in Arlington, VA where she worked hands-on with all day-to-day office operations.
Heidi first demonstrated her QuickBooks and Excel abilities (she tested 100% in Excel) and strong work ethic on a 1-month temporary assignment doing a bank reconciliation project.
Our long-term client is an industrial supplier headquartered in California, with a small branch office in Denver with two employees. They contacted their J. Kent Recruiter for their immediate need for an Office Supervisor which was a foot-in-the-door opportunity as they had an open position. Reporting to the President in California, the Office Supervisor would be responsible for bookkeeping for the Denver branch (A/R, A/P, month-end closing), taking customer orders, and answering questions on products and shipments.
Heidi immediately jumped to the top of the list of qualified candidates. Her skillset and down-to-earth nature were just the right fit for our client. Heidi aced her interview and was hired by J. Kent Staffing to start on her assignment shortly thereafter!
