J. Kent Staffing’s client closed their brick-and-mortar Denver office and moved their Colorado employees to 100% remote work. The company’s mission is sustainable water use, and they manufacture smart sprinkler systems that are sold to large, worldwide retailers and local greeneries.
J. Kent was tasked with hiring a detail-oriented, computer-savvy temporary associate to work 20-25 hours/week for approximately 3 months during the company’s busy summer season. Responsibilities include high volume phone calls and emails to their distribution partners to collect, update, and maintain database information. Computer technologies used daily in this assignment are Salesforce, MailChimp, Zapier, Kustomer, Asana, Google Suite, and Excel.
Heather grew up in New Jersey and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from SUNY – Oswego in 2016. With an additional minor in Zoology, Heather has always been an animal lover and jumped at the chance to relocate to Colorado after graduating for a Development Associate role with The Wild Animal Sanctuary.
Five years later, Heather has decided to make a shift in her career, so this part-time role for J. Kent Staffing gives her time to research and explore her next steps while continuing to develop additional skills. Heather’s strong work ethic and tech-savvy skills (she tested 100% in Excel and 97% in Word) are exactly what J. Kent’s client needed.
Heather is an avid hiker and, in her spare time, loves to get out and explore Colorado’s beautiful parks and the Rocky Mountains!
