We love our returners to J. Kent Staffing!
Christine first started with us in 2018 on a two-week temporary assignment that ended with her being hired by our client. She worked there for several years as Office Manager and Talent Coordinator before leaving for the opportunity to work for a previous supervisor.
Fast forward to 2024… Christine reconnected with her former J. Kent Staffing Recruiter to resume her job search after taking a brief hiatus for family obligations. Open to a wide variety of jobs from administrative to sales, she quickly started working for us again – this time as a temporary Administrative Assistant for a design-build contractor on a one-month project. Christine is really enjoying conducting research and building out a spreadsheet with potential new client information for our client.
A first-generation college student, Christine graduated with a degree in social work. She has since been drawn to mission-driven organizations focused on health, human services, education, employment, and advocacy. Over the years, she honed her administrative, customer service, and communications skills which allowed her to successfully venture into other roles including business development, recruitment, and sales.
A devoted and busy mother of four, Christine has juggled years of community involvement and volunteering at many school sports and activities, all while continuing to work. She has served in various ministry roles at church, and in PTA leadership at elementary, middle, and high school levels. Currently, Christine serves on the Human Services Board for the City of Westminster.
Now that her two youngest – identical twins – have graduated high school and are heading to college, Christine is at a crossroads both personally and professionally. She is enjoying returning to her love of both indoor and outdoor sports, including playing soccer and riding horses, and having the chance to spend more time with her friends.
