Originally from New York, Deb’s military family moved around frequently. She has lived in more states than most people have visited – 48 out of 50 – and even overseas! Now, she considers Colorado home.
Deb has a solid administrative background. After several years working in state departments, primarily in the education sector, she resigned in January 2022 to step back and look for a less demanding position. Most important to Deb was to find a position that was close to her home and had diversity in its role.
Deb connected with J. Kent Staffing through a Google search and applied to a few of our administrative job openings that matched her search criteria. One of those listings ended up being the right match. Within one week of applying, Deb interviewed with a J. Kent Staffing Recruiter, with our client, and was offered and accepted a temp-to-hire position which she started in early May 2022.
In her new role, Deb supports a small, local nonprofit that helps under-served parents of children with disabilities. Wearing many hats, Deb prepares for meetings/workshops, drafts memos, records meeting minutes, and attends fairs (as shown in her photo). Deb’s great attitude and willingness to jump in and help as needed have been a huge help for our client!
In her free time, Deb loves cooking, salsa dancing, and reading. She also enjoys traveling throughout our beautiful state. Winter Park and Aspen are two of her favorite Colorado spots!
