Jesse spent the last year traveling through Europe, working in France and enjoying the long ski season Colorado has to offer. However, once Jesse returned to Denver, he was ready to rejoin the workforce and eager to build on his previous professional experience.
Finding work in a still difficult economy, Jesse registered with several Denver temp agencies and Colorado placement agencies including J. Kent Staffing. Through the J. Kent Process, Jesse’s Denver recruiter found him to be flexible, with a great attitude and a strong work ethic. Jesse also presented with a Bachelor of Arts in History (3.51 GPA) from the University of Colorado. To augment his career, he also had excellent computer skills and one and a half years’ IT Support Specialist experience working for a large, virtual data center providing in-office and remote software training including SharePoint 2010.
Jesse, anxious to begin working and with a wonderful, flexible attitude, was open to any kind of Denver job opportunities. J. Kent immediately hired him for a long term, 40 hour per week, temporary job as a warehouse Inventory Specialist for a Denver based, IT asset disposition firm. Although Jesse was not at his full earning potential, he was grateful to be employed and his performance reviews were excellent.
When their full time SharePoint Site Collection Administrator became ill, our client, a nearly 100 year old public agency, had little time to find an experienced replacement. After a lengthy, in-person interview with our client, Jesse was identified as the most qualified out of 5 candidates presented to the hiring authority. Subsequently, J. Kent made and Jesse accepted this new job offer. A new hire was also made for our warehouse client and a seamless transition was made.
