After six years of experience as a Paralegal and Legal Assistant, Alexa recently decided to follow her passion and make the transition into clinical mental health counseling. This career change requires her to go back to graduate school which she will start in the fall. Alexa plans to continue to work while in school but will require a role with more flexibility than the legal field offers.
Alexa had been a previous J. Kent Candidate several years ago and decided to return for help in finding another less demanding full-time job, ideally in healthcare, education, or a nonprofit setting.
Because she was also open to temporary work until she finds a new position, Alexa’s J. Kent Recruiter immediately put her to work! She was one of 10 J. Kent team members hired for a 5-day event, PeriodPalooza, for one of our Colorado-based nonprofit organizations. Now, Alexa is working in a high-profile Receptionist role during a medical leave for another long-standing Denver nonprofit whose mission involves bringing economic success to downtown Denver.
A native Coloradoan, Alexa enjoys singing live karaoke, playing piano, and has started to learn guitar. She also enjoys arts & crafts and going to art museums.
Thank you for returning to J. Kent Staffing, Alexa, and for jumping right into these temporary opportunities. We are excited to have you on our J. Kent Team!
