Temporary Work Helps Job Seeker Find the Right Culture Fit

Molly

Accounting Assistant

Molly graduated from The University of Alabama (roll tide!) in 2017 with a degree in accounting and a double major in Spanish. She moved to Denver in 2018 and worked in a couple of different jobs, but none of the companies truly aligned with her core values. They just weren’t the right cultural fit.

When the pandemic hit, she decided to take a step back from her career path and use this time as an opportunity to explore temporary positions with J. Kent Staffing in order to gain experience in a variety of different positions and companies. Since March 2021, Molly has enjoyed the flexibility that temporary work has offered her, and she has been one of our “go-to” employees.

Her most recent assignment was working as an Accounting Assistant at a non-profit focused on providing resources to low-income members of the Denver community. The company had a mission she could stand behind and the right company culture that she was missing in previous positions. She found the work she did both enjoyable and worthwhile, and her co-workers to be amiable and supportive. Her co-workers actually encouraged her to apply for the company’s full-time position and she ended up getting the job!

Outside of work, Molly enjoys making crafts, playing music, and spending quality time with her soon-to-be husband, friends, and dogs.

Molly – we wish you much happiness and success in your new position!
