Shortly after completing her Doctorate in Education, Allison spent 2 years in Turkey as an International English Language Teacher, teaching students from elementary school age up through 60 years old. She has always loved to travel and meet new people and cherished every moment of that life-changing experience.
After returning to the U.S., she got married and moved to Colorado.
Allison connected with J. Kent Staffing to start doing temporary work while taking time to reflect on her career path. Although she wanted to remain in the education field, she decided that she no longer wanted to pursue a career as a teacher.
Since August 2019, Allison has worked on-and-off for J. Kent Staffing on 12 different temporary assignments. On every assignment, she has brought her great work ethic, enthusiasm, and reliability and has made such a positive impression with all of J. Kent’s different client companies.
Over her tenure with us, Allison has worked as a Database Coordinator (1.5 months), Remote Customer Service Representative (1.5 months), and Program Assistant (she was hired on by this nonprofit education client after 6 weeks, but later laid off due to the Covid pandemic). She has also completed several short-term event staffing jobs and is currently putting her great people skills to work as a Receptionist at a high-end car dealership.
